find.london on your phone, with everything it knows kept on the device.

The app is the site, built to open cold and to keep working when the signal does not: on the Underground, in a basement gallery, on a train out of one of the termini. Your saved places, your marks and the listings you have looked at are all on the phone, so the map draws and the pages open with nothing to wait for.

The App Store version is still with review. This page will carry the link the day it is approved.

Until then, or instead

You do not have to wait for either store, and you may not need them at all. find.london works as an app straight from the browser: open it, add it to your home screen, and it opens full screen with its own icon and keeps working offline exactly as the store version does.

• iPhone and iPad. In Safari, press the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
• Android. In Chrome, open the menu, then Add to Home screen or Install app.
• Desktop. In Chrome or Edge, press the install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar.

What you keep is yours either way. Marks made in the browser are on that device until you make an account, and then they follow you to the app and back. Nothing else is collected; the privacy page is short and says exactly what is stored and where.
