The best coffee in London. We only list places that take coffee really seriously.
A bare room in the Triangle pouring Assembly coffee, with beer and wine on the same counter.
The room is deliberately plain - a counter, a handful of seats, not much on the walls - and all of it points at the coffee, which is roasted by Assembly over in Brixton. The house espresso changes with the seasons and there are filter beans to take home.
Pastries do the morning, and the same counter sells craft beer and wine, which is not what most coffee shops do and makes it somewhere to stop in the afternoon as well. It stands on Church Road, in the Triangle that Crystal Palace is built around.
