New Cavendish Street crosses the medical quarter, so the trade here is consultants, their staff and people filling an hour before an appointment, which makes it calmer in the middle of the day than most central rooms.
WatchHouse were roasting in a railway arch on Maltby Street before they had many rooms to put it in: the 1829 blend built for milk, a rotating single origin on pour-over, and a pastry counter held to the same standard. They were named Europe's best coffee shop chain at the 2024 European Coffee & Hospitality Awards.
