The Suttons were fishmongers before they were friers, which shows in what is on the counter - oysters shucked to order alongside the cod. The vegan menu is not a token: banana blossom in seaweed batter, done properly enough that people come for it specifically. Hackney beer on tap and Mrs Sutton's cakes after.
