Start at Australia House on the Strand, whose banking hall is Gringotts, and walk west to Charing Cross Road, where the books put the Leaky Cauldron; up it to the Palace Theatre at Cambridge Circus, round the corner to Harry on his broom in Leicester Square, on to Piccadilly Circus, where the trio land in Deathly Hallows, then down Haymarket and Whitehall to Scotland Place, where the Ministry's phone box stood, and Horse Guards Avenue, where its lavatories did. Just under two miles, all of it pavement, with House of MinaLima a few steps off the route in Soho.
