Vantablack voids, warping steel mirrors and two new red installations, filling the whole Hayward.
ImmersiveArt & design
At Hayward Gallery.
Kapoor's return to the gallery that gave him his first major UK survey thirty years ago, and Ralph Rugoff's last show as director. The steel mirrors that bend the room, objects coated in Vantablack that swallow light, voids in the floor with real vertigo, visceral recent paintings, and new works including a pair of monumental red installations. Tours at 12:00 on Wednesdays and Fridays. £22, free for Members; a content warning for blood and entrails.
