Swimming
One of only a couple of heated fifty-metre outdoor pools in the country, kept warm all year, with a shallow twenty-metre section alongside it and two sun terraces. Opened in 1939 and restored in 2013. Being heated and rarely full, it is the easiest of London's big lidos to get a lane in, and it stays pleasant in December when the unheated ones become a test of character.
