Robert Reid and Jean-Christophe Slowik met in 1998 working under Marco Pierre White at the Oak Room, and opened this together much later. The cooking is hearty French country food and stays there: confit de canard under white haricot beans and mushrooms, steak frites, tarte fine aux pommes.
