The Bull's Head sits where Lonsdale Road meets the Thames, and the music happens in a room behind the bar that has been running since the late 1950s - the same decade as Ronnie Scott's, and with a comparable list of people who played it on the way up. It is a proper pub in front, with the river outside and a Sunday roast, and a ticketed jazz room at the back. Seven or eight nights a month.
