A Victorian street packed shoulder to shoulder with flowers, one morning a week.
Parks & natureFree
Sunday only, and over by mid-afternoon: barrows of cut flowers, bedding plants, bulbs and house plants down a narrow Victorian street, sold by traders who shout their prices and cut them as the morning goes on. The sixty-odd shops behind the stalls — bakers, galleries, a Spanish deli, plant shops — open with the market and several keep hours in the week as well. Come at eight for the pick of it or at two for the bargains, and expect to shuffle rather than walk.
