Also in Wine.
The only commercial vineyard in London, planted in the grounds of Forty Hall in Enfield and run as a community project: in their words, income from the wine goes straight back into their mental health and wellbeing work. Volunteers do much of the picking. The wines are organic and genuinely good, which is not always true of a project with a cause attached.
Half an hour from Liverpool Street to Turkey Street, then ten minutes on foot — the shortest vineyard trip on this list, and the only one that never leaves London.
