Nine days of installations, open studios and design districts across the city.
City-wideFestivalArt & design
Now in its 24th edition, the festival turns the city into a design programme for nine days in September: commissioned installations in public buildings, open studios, showroom launches and a dozen self-organising design districts from Shoreditch to Brompton, plus the trade fairs on the edges. A good deal of it is free to walk into, and the installations in places like St Paul's are the ones worth planning around.
It has no single venue - this pin sits at Charing Cross, the point London measures its distances from. The programme goes up on their site and is worth filtering by district before you set out.
