Denbies covers a whole hillside of the Surrey Hills above Dorking and is the most visitable vineyard in the country: a train that runs out through the vines, indoor tastings, guided walks, a restaurant and a hotel. It is the one to pick if the group is mixed and not everyone is there for the wine.
Dorking is about fifty minutes from Waterloo and the estate is a fifteen-minute walk from Dorking station, so no taxi and no car. Book the tour you want before you travel.
