He built three houses in Hampstead in 1939 and lived in the middle one until 1987 — demolishing the cottages that stood there, which Ian Fleming never forgave. The furniture is Goldfinger's own and the art includes Bridget Riley and Max Ernst. National Trust; entry by timed tour for part of the day.
