Alison Jacques

The gallery that revived Dorothea Tanning, Lenore Tawney and Sheila Hicks, on Cork Street.

Commercial galleryFree

Alison Jacques has a particular gift for the overlooked: she brought Tanning, Hannah Wilke, Maria Bartuszova and the fibre artists Tawney and Hicks back into view, alongside living artists such as Ryan Mosley and Ian Kiaer, and the museums followed. The gallery moved from Fitzrovia to Cork Street in 2023, into the rebuilt row that has made the street an art address again.
