Margherita Manzelli has painted the same subject for thirty years — a lone woman, gaunt, wide-eyed, staring back — and calls them her signorine. She was born in Ravenna in 1968 and has shown at the Whitechapel and the São Paulo Bienal; greengrassi, tucked down a side street off Kennington Road, has represented her almost from the start. Free.
