The Line

London's sculpture walk: Gormley, Damien Hirst, Thomas J Price and Tracey Emin along the waterways from Stratford to Greenwich.

Walk: Olympic Park to The O2Outdoor sculptureSculpture walkFree

A route rather than a place, following the River Lea and the Thames from the Olympic Park to the O2 with a dozen or more works along it, changed every few years: Gormley's Quantum Cloud is its southern end, and the way passes Hirst's Sensation, Thomas J Price's Reaching Out, works by Laura Ford, Rana Begum and Yinka Ilori, and the cable car across the river. Free, always open, and the best way to see a side of London most Londoners have not.
