Quantum Cloud

Antony Gormley's thirty-metre cloud of steel beside the O2, with a figure hidden in it.

Gormley's tallest sculpture, made for the Millennium in 1999: a lattice of steel sections set at random angles that condenses, if you stand in the right place on the Greenwich Peninsula, into the shape of a body at its centre. It stands on a jetty in the river beside the O2, best seen from the Thames Path or from a boat, and it changes with the weather and the light.
