At Turner's House.
Turner left almost everything in his studio to the nation, and the wording of the will was fought over for years before the Turner Bequest settled into the collection it is now. The show hangs that story around a single painting, Margate(?), from the Sea, made between 1835 and 1840 and never finished. It is at Sandycombe Lodge, the small villa Turner designed for himself. £12, with concessions available.
