A cookie bar on Peckham High Street where the flavours go somewhere unexpected and the coffee is taken as seriously.
The cookies are the reason and they are not conservative: dark chocolate and basil, raspberry with hoisin and ruby chocolate, sobrasada with Mahon cheese and honey. Coffee comes from a curved, sculptural station that dominates the room. The fittings are minimal to the point of austerity, backless steel stools included, so it is a place to order and go rather than to settle into.
