Built in 1921 as a showroom for Wolseley Motors and still carrying the pillars, arches and black-and-gold lacquer, run since 2003 as a European café in the Viennese manner. Breakfast is the meal it does best: kippers, kedgeree, eggs Benedict and a basket of viennoiserie at a marble table under the balcony.
