Founded in Redchurch Street in 1998 as Modern Art Inc and one of the galleries that made Shoreditch an art district, it has moved west with its artists: Nigel Cooke, Richard Tuttle, Katy Moran, Eva Rothschild, Sanya Kantarovsky. The St James's rooms are a step from the Old Master dealers of Bury Street, which is the point.
