On the 52nd floor of Shangri-La The Shard, looking down on Tower Bridge and the whole of the City through floor-to-ceiling glass. There is a small infinity pool beside the bar. Enter through the hotel entrance on St Thomas Street rather than the viewing-gallery queue, and book - a window seat is the entire point and they are spoken for.
