Moto is a sake shop with a bar in it, on Maiden Lane. The list is sake and shochu brought in directly from small Japanese brewers, much of it new to Britain, with Japanese gin and absinthe alongside it, and there is a short food menu built to drink against. Anything you have a glass of can be bought by the bottle on the way out. The name is the moto, the fermentation starter a brewer makes before the sake itself, and in its other reading, origin.
