Seymour Street is the quiet side of Marble Arch: Portman Village and the streets behind it rather than Oxford Street, which is two minutes away and feels considerably further.
WatchHouse were roasting in a railway arch on Maltby Street before they had many rooms to put it in: the 1829 blend built for milk, a rotating single origin on pour-over, and a pastry counter held to the same standard. They were named Europe's best coffee shop chain at the 2024 European Coffee & Hospitality Awards.
