The best food markets in London. Street food, fresh produce and the food halls worth a detour.
A historically protected church turned food hall, crypt bar included.
St Mark's was deconsecrated and is now three floors of stalls with the stained glass, pulpit and confessionals left in place. There is a wine bar in the crypt, a German Kraft microbrewery, a grocery of artisan produce and a roof terrace. Grander and pricier than the Elephant and Castle original, and worth going in even if you do not eat.
