The first full-size statue of Woolf anywhere, sitting on a bench by the Thames in the town where she recovered and started the Press, unveiled in 2022.

Laury Dizengremel's bronze, paid for by public subscription and unveiled in November 2022, has Woolf on a bench in a coat with her legs crossed, turned as if to talk to whoever sits down next to her, and people do. Richmond was the Woolfs' home for nine years and the Hogarth Press began up the hill on Paradise Road; the river below is the one she walked along most days, and the statue's placing on the riverside rather than in a square was the point of the campaign. Look for it between the bridge and Heron Square.
