Nineteen State Rooms, open to the public for eleven weeks a year.
Guided tourHistoryAnnual event
The King's official residence opens its State Rooms each summer: the Throne Room, the Picture Gallery, the Grand Staircase and the Ballroom, ending with a walk through the garden. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays through September, 09:30 to 18:30 with last admission at 16:30. Reservicing work keeps the White Drawing Room shut this year and hoards part of the Ballroom. Outside the summer the Palace opens only for occasional guided tours.
