Severs left recordings and writings about the house and the family he invented for it, and the Gentle Author has made those into a script: an actor performs it in the rooms, so the imagined family are played as characters rather than explained as a conceit. It is the one visit where somebody talks - the day visits and the candlelit evenings are both silent.
Eighty minutes and a short question-and-answer afterwards, to seven people, at 18:00 and 20:00. The evenings published so far are Sunday 20 and Sunday 27 September, then Sunday 4, Saturday 10 and Sunday 18 October, and several of the sittings have already gone. Twelve and over, and the house's own conditions apply: steep stairs, dim light and no wheelchair access.
