Garden/Art/Garden

A run of talks arguing that a garden is a work of art and should be looked at like one.

Lecture / talkParks & nature

At Garden Museum.

Five evenings arguing that a garden is a made thing and should be looked at as one: modern Japanese gardens, experimental land art, wilderness, utopia, and what all of that means while the climate is changing. The landscape historian Tim Richardson chairs and has chosen the speakers - curators, gardeners, artists and academics talking about their own work as much as the field. Talks start at 18:30, a drink is included, and the ticket also gets you into the temporary exhibitions from 18:00. £20, with concessions available, or £80 for all five.
