At Marble Hill House.

An afternoon of Diwali on the lawns at Marble Hill: dancers, dhol drummers, giant puppets, workshops to join in with, and the grounds lit as it gets dark.

The house behind it was built in the 1720s for Henrietta Howard, mistress to George II and later a friend of Pope and Walpole, who helped her design it and made it one of the models for the English villa. The park it stands in is public and free, which is what makes an event like this possible at all.
