The Roman pastas are the spine of it - carbonara, cacio e pepe and the two that belong with them - and the room is plain in the way the trattorias it is copying are plain. The menu is built for sharing, there is a fish special every day, and the tiramisu is not an afterthought. Negronis first and Italian wine after.
