It sits inside a hotel with a large garden, which is where to eat in summer, but the room is pitched at the street and not at the guests: muted green and beige, and a short menu built on British produce. For the measure of the kitchen, order the chicken and chips, which is neither of those things done plainly. The bar is called Sprout.
