Eugene Korolev fought in Ukraine before he opened this, and the cooking is his country's: crisp black pudding croquettes, crayfish with cabbage, beef dumplings in a spicy broth, and a basket of rye and sourdough that arrives before any of it. The room is small and warm and run by people who are glad you came.
