The corridor in is lined with rosewood and glass-fronted wine cabinets, which sets the register before you have sat down. The room dates from 1955 and has been refreshed without losing that, and the furniture is Mira Nakashima's. The menu is grill-room classics resting on the beef, which runs from Aberdeen Angus up to Kobe.
