North of the Truman Brewery the street and the streets off it are the centre of London's vintage trade: Beyond Retro, Rokit and the warehouses that sell by weight, with the Sunday markets in the Brewery's yards adding food and records. South of the railway it is the curry houses and the Bangladeshi grocers. Cheshire Street, off it, has the better small shops.
