Bea's day is interrupted by Frank, her childhood best friend, turning up unannounced; what follows is a long walk back through what they remember differently. The writer performs in it. What the play is actually about is a friendship between a straight man and a queer woman, held as a friendship and nothing else, which is a relationship the stage still rarely gives a whole evening to.
It sold out its first London run earlier this year and transfers here on the strength of it.
