Performance venues

London's stages and concert rooms: the West End houses and the playhouses that make their own shows, the grand halls, the churches with a musical life, the jazz basements, the comedy clubs, the clubs proper, and the rooms above pubs where things start. What is on is listed under each venue, and in What's On.

What is on at them this week is in What's On: Performance

Soho Jazz Festival

Four September nights when ten Soho rooms run as one festival, and a pass gets you into all of them.

SohoJazz

Also in What’s On.

Soho's jazz clubs are the densest cluster in the country, and for four nights in September they are programmed together: Ronnie Scott's, Alfie's, the Jack Solomons Club, the Archer Street Club and half a dozen more, none further than ten minutes' walk from the next. A day or an All Access pass is named to you and checked at the door, so there is no secondary market. It began in 1986.
