Boublil and Schonberg's musical of Hugo's novel has run in London continuously since October 1985, which makes it the longest-running musical in the West End. It moved into the Sondheim in December 2019, when thirteen and a half million pounds of refurbishment finished, in the staging that replaced the revolve. Booking to March 2027.
