The Transport Museum's depot in Acton holds everything that will not fit in Covent Garden, and opens to the public a few weekends a year. This one is about design: Harry Beck's map, Enid Marx's moquettes, Charles Holden's stations and the roundel's evolution on the sign mezzanine, with the art deco 1938 stock train and the RM1 Routemaster prototype to climb into, talks, demonstrations and drop-in making. The last open days of the year. Adults £19, children £10, under-threes free; a SEND-friendly hour on the Saturday morning.
