Huge, high-colour paintings of plants, hung through Soane's own country villa.
Art & design
At Pitzhanger Manor.
Clare Woods paints from photographs and works in oil on aluminium, at a scale that fills a wall, and her subjects sit on the line where a flower stops being a flower and becomes a mass of colour. They are spread through the manor as well as the gallery, so the paintings run up against Soane's own decoration. Included in general admission.
