A working farm on the Thames path, open every day of the year.
Parks & natureFamily friendlyFree
Right on the river at Rotherhithe, reached through the Thames path: goats, pigs, poultry and a herb garden, with a volunteer-run farm shop selling eggs, meat and plants, and bags of animal feed for a pound if you want to be popular with the goats. Free every day including bank holidays, 10:00 to 16:00; the river gardens open earlier, 09:00 to 17:00, and The Barn does the coffee. Dogs on leads are welcome. The nearest station as the crow flies is across the river and no use to you: come from Rotherhithe or Canada Water on the south bank.
