The opening exhibition at the new V&A East Museum on the Olympic Park: an immersive sound show with over 120 tracks played through a headset, alongside stage wear, instruments, photographs and archive, from Joan Armatrading's 1964 acoustic guitar to costumes worn by performers now. The BBC has made companion programmes for iPlayer and Sounds.
