Wine barTastings
John Davy opened it in 1965 under the Free Vintners' licence, a right to sell wine that goes back to a charter of 1567, and it became the model for the London wine bar. The list comes from the family's own merchant cellars in Greenwich, with fine wines by the glass via Coravin and a fortified range that runs to vintage port, sherry and madeira. The food is classic British - meats, fish, a cheese selection and traditional puddings.
