English fruit comes in from vineyards within two hours of London, hand-picked in the early morning, and is made into wine here in a hundred-tonne working cellar - stainless steel tanks, a concrete egg and a solera of their own - with the drinking going on in the middle of it. The range runs from Bacchus and Ortega through barrel-aged Chardonnay to English Pinot Noir, and then past the classics: Dios Mio is a skin-contact Bacchus, Night Tripper a co-ferment, and Solena an orange wine aged under flor in that solera.

Over a hundred wines by the glass, and tours, tastings, workshops and WSET courses running alongside the drinking, which is the other reason to come. WineGB named it Boutique Winery of the Year in 2024, and it holds the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain trademark. The winemaker, Jose, grew up on a Sussex farm and has worked harvests at Comando G in Spain and at Davenport, Westwell, Henners and Wiston at home.
