Gasworks has run studios and residencies since 1994 and its gallery on Vauxhall Street shows artists from Latin America, Africa and Asia who are often exhibiting in Britain for the first time - Ana Mendieta, Zineb Sedira, Candice Lin and Ruth Ewan have all shown here early. One room, one artist, made for the space, and the cricket ground over the road.
