The cigar merchant Churchill bought from, with his chair and his account ledger still in the basement museum.
Trading before 1900
Robert Lewis began trading here in 1787 and the business merged with the Dublin house of Fox; the shop keeps the ledgers of both, and Churchill's account - showing what he bought and what he owed - is on display downstairs along with the leather chair he sat in.
Oscar Wilde's account is there too. The museum is free and the staff will show you round it whether or not you are buying.
