The shop has been at this corner since 1857 and the front - gilded glass, brass and mahogany - is one of the best-preserved Victorian shopfronts in London, protected in its own right. The workshop is in the basement.
They make umbrellas and walking sticks to order, repair anything they have made, and will fit a stick to your height while you wait. Gladstone bought here.
