The sweet course as a destination: gelato and ice cream, cakes and patisserie, chocolate, and the dessert bars where pudding is the whole point. Bread and the morning are next door, in Bakeries.
Four storeys of chocolate by Greenwich Market, open until ten.
ChocolateOpen lateSomewhere to sit
The flagship, and the one with room to sit: four floors on Nelson Road, a minute from Greenwich Market, where the Brick Lane shop is a counter you stand at. Same Ghanaian cocoa, same hand-made chocolates from pearls to slabs.
And the same hot chocolate, which is the reason to climb the stairs with one - a swirl of milk and chocolate under a pile of shavings that keep melting into it. Pitch Black is the thickest; hazelnut praline, white saffron and pink champagne are the others. Open until ten, which in Greenwich is late.
