The sweet course as a destination: gelato and ice cream, cakes and patisserie, chocolate, and the dessert bars where pudding is the whole point. Bread and the morning are next door, in Bakeries.
Japanese mille crepe cakes, layer by layer, down an alley between Wardour and Dean Street.
Cakes & patisserieOpen lateSomewhere to sit
A mille crepe is twenty or so paper-thin pancakes stacked with cream between them and chilled until it slices like a cake; Kova builds them in matcha, hojicha, black sesame, chocolate and yuzu, and sells them by the slice. The rest of the case runs to cheesecakes, souffle pancakes and choux.
St Anne's Court is the narrow cut-through between Wardour Street and Dean Street, and the room is small enough that there is often a wait. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
